Arguments- constructive or otherwise

Can they really be good for you?

Most arguments are probably not constructive nor intended to be educational. However the ironic fact is that when arguments are over, thinking about it and reviewing your thought can result in greater good and even be the birth of new ideas, innovation and challenge to the mind

The compulsiveness to win is a strong and forceful instinct. The desire to supersede and excel beyond the expectations of others is alive within every human being. It is the motivation factor that needs to come by. Arguments can be a very firm motivating aspect to many individuals.

In a controlled and calm environment with free thinking people arguments can bring out the best in people. You never really know someone unless you have argued with them! The driving force behind political parties, sports teams and school kids is competition. Competition in the positive spirit. However arguments are not about competition. Arguments are about inspiration. If you are truly right you inspire your opponent not to agree but to think; to see things in a different view point; to be open minded. What better good than to open the mind of a person to other realities that may exist, a different thought process or an idea which makes him or her say “Now, why didn't I think of that?”
