Do what you love doing. If you like gardening, then create a business around it. In the ICNA convention we sat in some of the entrepreneurial lectures.... The motivational talks by people like us who started doing what they loved only because they loved it, gave us new hope and strength for the future. I am in the education industry because it is the one thing I have loved all my life. My school essays on ambitions and my answer when the lecturers at college asked have all to do with education. I am thankful to Allah for giving me the ability to be good at what I love doing.
The guy who started http://www.ediblearrangements.com/ worked first for a flower store. He went into the business at around 15 years of age. Today this business is one of a kind and open to a global market. He found a passion and pursued it! His address at the ICNA convention had many lessons for us to learn, one of which was RETURN THE MONEY faster than the customer paid it to you, if he is dissatisfied for any reason!
Success for you is as you define it. A good business needs a sound managemnt with crtitical thinkers and proactive human resources. Fighting fires is not the way to go. While I am reading up on taking businesses to the next level I will be posting here on and off, on some tips that i find enlightning so do stayed tuned in for more!
